![]() The character-driven invites are really cute and don’t look like you just bought a movie poster. Go to Paperless Post, click the “Sign Up” box in the upper right corner, and fill out the pop-up form.Ģ – Search for your invitation by designer or event, like “kids’ birthday invitations.” In the kids category, you can find character invitations, superheros, pool parties, dinosaur parties, sports parties and more. So, I thought I’d walk you through how easy it was to create our Paperless Post invitation, in case you want to try this for one of your parties.ġ – You’ll need to create an account to send your invitation. And, for a small, casual brunch at my house, an email invite felt like the right way to go. But I found an invitation on Paperless Post that was perfect. I’d already scoured Etsy for a design that had a touch of Britain in the style of a wedding invitation, and I came up empty. (I’ll be sharing my party plan for that event soon, so you can copy it for your own viewing party.) There were any number of invitations I could have happily chosen for some upcoming parties, but I immediately thought about the Royal Wedding Viewing Party I’ll be hosting for a small group of friends on May 19. They were elegant and modern, clean and fun. Before I said yes, I checked out their designs. I was recently invited to review Paperless Post. But some email invitation providers are upping the style game. So, choosing a printable instead of an email invite was an easy decision. And in the past, email invitation providers didn’t offer designs that were appealing – let alone themed to my event. It’s just such a fun treat in the middle of the bills and catalogs and junk. I’ll always be a fan of getting personalized mail in my mail box. They are just phone people now! I had a chance to test drive an online invitation product this week and thought I’d share with you how to use Paperless Post for email party invitations. The info is at their fingertips, and they can see who else will be at the party. Cute enough, in fact, that it made me rethink my preference for printed invitations. My girls said they like getting invitations by email or text. That was certainly not the first email invitation they’ve received, but it was the cutest. With regular mail you never know whether or not your letter was received or lost (which by the way, there were a few cases with our invitations where they did not get to the intended destination, and same thing with the RSVP cards!).A few weeks ago, my daughters were invited to a birthday party via an email invitation. We could see once they were delivered, plus once they were opened, and if anyone replied/wrote notes. The best part of sending our paperless posts over is that we were able to track them. We picked a personalized photo of us and included all details we needed. What was great about Paperless Post was the amount of customization you could do. Honestly, if sending physical invitations weren't still proper etiquette, we would've used them for our invitations too! ![]() We used Paperless post for our save the dates and our rehearsal dinner invites. It's personal, special, and everybody who receives them loves it. We had our friend design the invitation front and back, and upload the file onto paperless post, and connects it to our wedding website. ![]() They also have different designs on it, or you can use a blank card and simply put your photos as the cover. Paperless could be free or a few cents per email, depends on how fancy you want to get (like a front and back page, a lining to your envelopes, different color envelops, different "stamps" to put on the back, etc). But it has a nice effect of opening a letter! It's easy for the recipients, they don't need an account or anything to keep track of the message you send them, it simply arrives in their mailbox like a regular email. You can also send follow-up messages through the paperless. It's so easy to use, and you can track whether or not people open the invite, and nudge them (haha). We love deciding to go with Paperless post in the end, instead of sending out hundreds of paper mails and waiting for people to send the RSVP back. This is a very smart, very modern, eco-friendly way of sending out wedding invitations.
